Location: North Dorset
I am currently recruiting for my client in the North Dorset area. This is an individually owned, medium sized, residential home. The home currently boasts a GOOD CQC report in every area, and an amazing local reputation.
The service can offer on-site accommodation, there is currently a 1 bed bungalow on offer for a competitive rate, that is readily available. Please find below some more details on what is required for this position.
The Main duties of the role:
Register with the CQC and thereafter manage the running of the home in line with CQC legal regulations, as well as company policy and procedures.
Proactively source new clients and seek to develop and grow the business.
Develop relationships with key customers and service providers, i.e. local councils, NHS Trusts, Day Centres, Care Homes etc.
Manage staff and assist in their role development and career enhancement.
To carry out spot checks, audits and competencies
To develop MAR charts
On call for emergency queries, evening and weekends.
An experienced leader, confident in interviews and able to grow, and manage a team of carers
At least five years' experience in the care industry in a registered home manager's role, working in a home with a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' CQC rating
Must have NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or hold an RMA
Must have a full driving license
Have knowledge of managing a Residential home
Registered Home Manager : 5 years
Nursing Qualification Not Needed
