We are currently recruiting for one of our client's fantatic services based in Huddersfield and require Support Workers for a Full Time Role within a Learning disabilities care home for 4 service users. The most recent CQC report is "GOOD" in all areas.
You will work flexibly to ensure individual needs are met while maximising independence, dignity, privacy and well-being.
The type of care a Support Worker will provide will vary from person to person but will include the following:
Personal Care (provide a shower, bath, changing pads etc.)
Practical Support such as laundry, cleaning, preparing and cooking meals

Support Worker Requirements:
Passion for delivering high levels of care
Good numeric and literacy skills
A warm and friendly disposition
Good communication skills, able to put others at ease
A strong team worker
Supportive and patient
Reliable and punctual
Willingness to develop new skills (to NVQ 2/3)
The ideal candidate will have NVQs although previous care experience is highly desirable.
These positions pay £7.83 per hour and have a variety of shifts available:
7am to 3pm, 2pm to 9pm and waking nights 9pm to 9am.
These are full-time permanent positions. Some part-time waking nights are available.
