Remedicare Staffing are currently supporting a well-established 5-star care provider in their search for an experienced and dedicated Registered Home Manager for their modern Residential Care Home in the Roehampton area. Salary of £65,000-70,000 per annum.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, award-winning care company and be part of a team that want to make a difference to our residents’ lives. The role is working in a fantastic 70 bedded Residential Home that caters for residents with varying degrees of residential and dementia care needs in a safe, appealing and comfortable environment. Staffed by a team of well-trained and dedicated care professionals, the home offers high standards of personalised. The Care Home is rated ‘GOOD’ in the most recent CQC report and offers a variety of facilities. Residents enjoy a range of daily activities tailored to their individual preferences from games and entertainment to crafts and quizzes. The home has a secure outside garden area and pleasant lounges, all bedrooms are en-suite and rooms are spacious.

This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday and comes with a fantastic basic salary of £65,000-70,000 per annum!

Home Manager Skills/ Experience:

NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care or Registered Managers Award
Preferable 3+ years of previous experience as a Registered Home Manager

Experienced in a residential care home environment, you will be able to demonstrate a track record in leading, motivating and managing staff to deliver a high standard of care and support is provided to the service users.

Experience and knowledge of working in dementia care

Have a good understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, safeguarding and care plans

Home Manager Duties will include:

The day-to-day management of the Home according to the policies and resources determined by the Employer and the requirements of the Health & Social Care Act 2008 & 2012 and subsequent amendments.
Staff management, appraisals and training

Maintain the records and policies & procedures required of the Home by the Registration Legislation and the Employer.

Participating in the marketing programme for the Home by presenting a professional image to all visitors and by ensuring that the Home is maintained to the highest standards at all times.
