Remedicare Staffing are currently working with a valued elderly care provider in the Hampshire area to appoint a new Quality Assurance Manager.

The company provide care for the elderly across 4 separate 20-35 bedded care homes between Winchester and Portsmouth, specialising in Elderly and Dementia Care. The organisation is greatly appreciated by the surrounding community and are looking for someone to further their place in the local area and ensure that a continuing high quality of person-centred care is provided in all their homes.

This role entails travelling to multiple care home sites and carrying out audits and reviews to ensure that the homes are compliant with all aspects of CQC regulation. You will also support the Registered Managers in implementing any improvements or changes that might be flagged up and aim to achieve a "Good" CQC rating as a minimum.

This is a full time, permanent position paying £40,000-45,000 per annum (Negotiable for the right candidate and DOE) + a mileage allowance.

You will have:

*

NVQ Level 4/5 or Registered Manager's Award minimum
*

An in-depth knowledge of all statutory requirements;
*

Experience of improving or maintaining standards within similar services, either as a Home Manager, Peripatetic or QA;
*

Evidence of successful CQC inspections and turnaround services;
*

A history of writing and developing policies and procedures;
*

Strong knowledge of the latest in Dementia care training and provision.

Are you the successful candidate we are looking for?

*

Currently working within a Home Management/Senior Quality/Compliance role and have experience undertaking audits and conducting internal investigations
*

UK Driving Licence
*

Knowledge of compliance and auditing systems required by regulatory bodies e.g. CQC
*

A good understanding of Care Home Management, Quality Assurance and Registration matters
*

Excellent report writing skills, ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines, analytical, organised and ability to train/coach staff on relevant topics where appropriate
