Remedicare Staffing are currently searching for an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to join a family-run company at an attractive 50 place Nursery in the South Croydon area.

Job Description:

This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday and comes with a basic annual salary of £32,000-35,000. The company aims to provide high quality, affordable childcare in a safe, fun and stimulating environment where the child's needs and interests come first. As Manager you will lead by example to embody the company's values and support and develop your staff. We are looking for someone who loves working with people and is passionate about helping others grow and succeed while retaining a fun and dynamic culture.

The Nursery Manager is expected to work room based along with the staff, 1 day per week in each of the rooms, and support all team members from Apprentices and Nursery Assistants to Room Leaders and the Deputy Manager. Duties will also include staff supervisions and appraisals along with office based duties such as email responses, paperwork and phone calls. A track history of 'Good' or above Oftsed reports will be looked upon favourably.

Skills/ Experience

* Ideally NVQ/CACHE Level 5


Preferably 2 or more years' experience in a similar Management experience

Excellent knowledge of the Ofsted and Welfare requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a strong leader

A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework
* Preferably 2 + years of managerial experience

You will be responsible for:

* Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Nursery


Achieving and maintaining the high standards of care and education

Guiding the staff team including providing day to day guidance, training and support to all practitioners

Ensuring all policies, procedures and curriculum are implemented and adhered to at all times

Overseeing the planning in the rooms
* Maintaining and developing strong links with parents
