They have currently got a vacancy for a Team Leader/Assistant Manager at one of their superb Care Homes based in Farnborough. You role will be to support the manager in providing the highest standards of care and ensure a safe and happy environment for all.
This role is in a 16 bedded residential care home in Farborough specialising in elderly care and is ideal for a Senior HCA/Team Leader looking to make the next step up in their career. The CQC report is rated "GOOD" in all areas and there is great support provided by the manager to develop and hone your managerial skills.
This is a full-time role paying £10.66 per hour. Hours and shifts to be agreed upon by the successful candidate with flexibility to work to a rota that suits you.
Provide leadership and support for care staff and act as a champion for residents' safety and dignity
To ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available
Ensure the ongoing safety of residents, staff and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes
Assist in the ordering/recording of medication from the provider
Skills & Experience
Experience of working with older people
Understand care planning processes and have experience of writing care plans
Experience of leading a shift and the ability to plan, allocate and delegate work appropriately
Good organisational and supervisory skills
Ability to contribute to, monitor and implement changes that improve service delivery and outcomes for residents
Able to cope in difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential (Or be studying for)
