Our client in the Woking area is a beautiful 30 bedded residential care home that is part of a small family-run organisation that promotes the highest standards of care. They now have an exciting opportunity for Healthcare Assistants and Senior Care Assistants to join their passionate team.



We are looking for individuals who have a passion and desire to care for others and work as a dedicated team of Care Assistants and Senior Care Assistants to promote dignity and independence for all residents within the residential home.

Training and support will be provided to help develop you within your career and to enable you to provide the very highest standards of care possible to the residents.



Key details:

These roles are in an amazing 30 bedded residential care home in Woking that has recently been extensively refurbished. All rooms are en-suite and the aim is to provide a home away from home for all who live there. This is a luxurious and comfortable home in a quiet and tranquil location only a short distance from Woking town centre.

36 hours per week + optional overtime (alternate weekends)

Both Day and Night positions are available for both positions and the shifts are 8-8.

Care Assistants: £9.50 per hour.

Senior Care Assistants: £10.50 per hour.



Main duties for care assistants are as follows:

Providing personal care such as toileting, washing and dressing

Keeping residents comfortable and assisting in manual handling

Checking and reporting any change in residents conditions to a senior care assistant

Practical Support - Making beds, preparing food & laundry

Medical support - Taking temperatures, pulse etc

Liaise with visiting family and friends



Desirable:

Care assistants with previous experience within a care home and NVQ's within health and social care.

For the Senior Care Assistant role a minimum of NVQ Level 3 is preferred but candidates with NVQ Level 2 and medication training may be considered.
