If you have an NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care and Senior Care Assistant or supervisory experience we would really like to hear from you!

Key details

This role is in a 40 bedded Residential Care Home in Eastbourne that specialises in elderly and dementia care and the most recent CQC report is rated "GOOD".

The role pays a very competitive £10.50 per hour and is a full-time, permanent Care Team leader position on Nights working long shifts. There will be 3 Care Assistants working on Nights with you who you will lead and guide.

Key Responsibilities


Provide leadership and support for care staff

Act as a champion for residents' safety and dignity.

Ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available.

Ensure clear and accurate records are kept.

Skills & Experience


Experience of working with older people

Understand care planning processes and have experience of writing care plans

Experience of leading a shift

Good organisational skills and supervisory skills

Ability to plan allocate and delegate work appropriately


* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care

* Medication trained
