Our client in the Woking area is a beautiful 30 bedded residential care home that is part of a small family-run organisation that promotes the highest standards of care. They now have an exciting opportunity fSenior Care Assistants to join their passionate team.

We are looking for individuals who have a passion and desire to care for others and work as a dedicated team of Care Assistants and Senior Care Assistants to promote dignity and independence for all residents within the residential home. Training and support will be provided to help develop you within your career and to enable you to provide the very highest standards of care possible to the residents.



Key details:

These roles are in an amazing 30 bedded residential care home in Woking that has recently been extensively refurbished. All rooms are en-suite and the aim is to provide a home away from home for all who live there. This is a luxurious and comfortable home in a quiet and tranquil location only a short distance from Woking town centre.



36 hours per week + optional overtime (alternate weekends)

Pay rates: £10.50 per hour. (Equivalent to £11.45 per hour with unpaid breaks)

Both Day and Night positions are available and the shifts are 8-8.



Main duties for care assistants are as follows:

*

Supervising and participatimg in personal care
*

Keeping residents comfortable and assisting in manual handling
*

Administering medication
*

Updating care plans
*

Practical Support - Making beds, preparing food & laundry



Desirable:

Senior Care assistants with previous experience within an elderly care home and NVQ's within health and social care.

A minimum of NVQ Level 3 is preferred but candidates with NVQ Level 2 and medication training may be considered.
