On behalf of our reputable client Remedicare Staffing are searching for an experienced and qualified Senior Care Assistant on Days to join their Residential Care Home based in Rochdale.
They are an attractive, 25 bedded Residential Home that is independently run and promotes the highest standards of care. The latest CQC report is rated "GOOD" in all areas and the home is located in a quiet and pleasant area. The rooms are all tastefully decorated and person-centred care is at the heart of the home's values.
They now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Senior Care Assistant to join their passionate team of HCA's and SHCA's. We are looking for a Senior Carer who has a passion and desire to care for others and work alongside a team of other Seniors and Carers to promote dignity and independence for all residents within the care home. There is free parking at the home and they are also accessible by public transport from the town centre.
As a Senior Care Assistant you'll be responsible for caring for people with a wide range of needs as well as dispensing medication. This role will also give you the opportunity to use your management skills to ensure a high level of quality care is being delivered. We are looking for someone who is customer focused, committed to delivering exceptional, high quality care and has a strong attention to detail.
* Full time, permanent position on Days
Shifts are 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm or 8am-8pm
They pay a fantastic £10.60 per hour!!
* NVQ Level 3 is preferred, medicating trained is essential
Full training and support will be provided to new starters from the Home Manager and settled Senior care assistants.
Duties and responsibilities for the Senior Care Assistant:
* As a Senior HCA you'll have the satisfaction of really caring for people within a fantastic homely environment.
You will be leading a team, offering companionship, personal care, and help with medication.
You will be enabling our residents to remain as independent as possible.
Provide leadership and the highest level of support to the team, to ensure the very best outcomes in everything we do
* Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures and to promote the aims and values of organisation
Senior Carer Requirements:
* NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care is preferred but not essential
Previous experience with elderly/dementia clients
* Positive approach to work
