I am getting In contact to realise this brand new role we have in Oxford in a well-established practice. They are looking for someone who holds a GDC Pin and can join as a friendly face of the team, however they would consider a trainee dental nurse who is enrolled on a course.

Ø Job Title: Qualified Dental Nurse/Trainee Dental Nurse
Ø Location: Oxford
Ø Working Hours: Full Time (40 hours) May Consider Part Time (26 hours)
Ø Hourly Rate: £11 - £14 per hour (could be negotiable depending on experience)
Ø Start Date: ASAP With Flexibility

Roles and responsibilities:

Ø To perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting the Dentists/or Hygienist.

Ø Set-up and prepare the surgery for the type of patient and treatment planned.

Ø Work in a safe and effective manner in accordance with CQC/GDC requirements.

Ø Ensure that the surgical areas and equipment are cleaned and maintained.

Ø Follow all practice policies and procedures.

Ø Covering reception, taking calls, booking appointments and greeting clients.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Ø GDC registration

Ø Experience within dentistry

Ø Enrolled on Trainee Dental Nurse Course

Ø Interest In Progressing Within Dentistry

Ø A passion for dentistry
