Remedicare Staffing are currently supporting an ‘Outstanding’ rated Residential Care Home in their search for an experienced and dedicated Registered Home Manager for their beautiful home just outside Bury.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, award-winning care company and be part of a team that want to make a difference to our residents’ lives. You will be leading a lovely, family-owned Residential Care Home which provides care for people with mental health conditions aged between 20 and 75 in a pleasant and friendly environment. They pride themselves on offering person centered care, maximising each individuals potential for health improvement and promoting a positive sense of self-worth. The home has very little challenging behaviour and residents are all relatively independent.
This Registered Manager’s job would suit a friendly and personable manager with excellent leadership abilities, solid values about quality care provision and experience of managing teams to deliver first-class and support care to service users.
This is a full time, permanent role based in a home for up to 20 residents
£16.59 per hour, 37.5 hours per week base contract (£32,350.50 per annum)

NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care or Registered Managers Award
Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager
Experienced in a residential care home environment, you will be able to demonstrate a track record in leading, motivating and managing staff to deliver a high standard of care and support is provided to the service users.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Have a good understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, safeguarding and care plans
A history of 'Good' or better CQC reports will be looked upon favourably
Duties will include:
The day-to-day management of the Home according to the policies and resources determined by the Employer and the requirements of the Health & Social Care Act 2008 & 2012 and subsequent amendments.
Staff management, appraisals and training
Maintain the records and policies & procedures required of the Home by the Registration Legislation and the Employer.
Present a professional and welcoming image to all visitors and ensuring that the Home is maintained to the highest standards at all times.
